Shodhana

Shodhana process involves the purification as well as reduction in the levels of toxic principles which sometimes results in an enhanced therapeutic efficacy. “Shodhana” is derived from the Sanskrit word “Shudh” which means “clean”. Basically, most of the treatments in Ayurveda begins with Shodhana.

Snehapana

It is a unique formulation used in panchakarma. Basically, it is prepared by using ghee or oil as a base with special herbs which only can dissolve in ghrita and oil base. Snehapana procedures will be done 3days,5 days,7 days based on imbalance of dosha and dhatus.

Mrudu virechana

After snehapana we do this procedure by detoxification of body by special herbs. Due to excretion of body excreta, the process has been given the name virechana.

Bhrumana basti

Is nourishing therapy. Aimned to improve the nutritional level of the body Is assosiated to bulkiness and heaviness which is related to kapha dosha quality.

Abhyanga

Abhyanga therapy is an ancient practice which predates the Vedic period. Application of oil to the skin followed by massage in specific directions is well known by the name Abhyanga in Ayurveda. Massage in specific direction improves blood circulation, facilitates removal of the toxins from the tissues, relieves physical and mental fatigue, improves the functioning of musculoskeletal system, clears stiffness and heaviness of the body and leads to feeling of lightness. It assists development of healthy body, helps in improvement of body figure, recuperates the body tissues and reduces body weight as well as fat.

Dharas

It is generally administered over a period of seven to fourteen days, in sessions that last 30 minutes each. The three major forms of Dhara are Shirodhara (Dhara on the forehead), Sarvangadhara (Dhara on the entire body) and Pizhichil (Dhara by squeezing an oil-soaked cloth).
