Our Diagnostic Specialty

  • The very existence of the center is driven with a vision to make life healthy, energetic and fearless
  • Every patient is taken through a treatment planning phase where the chief doctor explains the treatment process.
  • The patient is explained about the treatments and respective benefits from each treatment procedure.
  • The Patient is also explained how to prepare for treatment since most treatments require the body to revive health.
  • A detailed schedule is shared so that patients are aware of the program they will undergo.
  • A proper feedback system is linked with each treatment where patients are observed carefully.
  • Pre-treatment physical examination, whole body related blood tests, body scans are performed and reports of investigations of blood, scans are carefully examined by the chief doctor. After completion of the treatments, a final physical examination like repetition of blood investigations is performed to see the changes and improvements. This process allows us to provide each patient appropriate attention and treatment of the highest quality.
  • At the same time Pulse reading is done to know the health problem and to see the repeated changes.

We work on diagnosis most, as this is the milestone for winning the health. "It is easy to get a thousand prescriptions but hard to get one single remedy" hence for us diagnosis is most important. Basically, we use five tools to diagnose the body’s ill health condition.

Physicians makes diagnosis based on their limited subjective experience only, as they think what others find is wrong like the famous story of six blind friends who went to experience elephant.

But how we approach is through nadi pareeksha (pulse checking), jyothishya, blood investigations & scan reports along with checking body signs through thrividha pareeksha (darshana, sparshana & prashna)

ART OF HISTORY TAKING

Pulse is directly related to the heart, and heart is the monitoring-unit of the whole body, plus – the regulator too. Pulse can talk about the total energy flow in the body. This energy keeps you healthy and conscious. The day this energy flow stops one is dead. If this energy flow is improper, according to Ayurveda, the body is IMBALANCE OF DOSHAS. It is the improper flow of this energy in the body that causes ill-health. According to Ayurveda, this energy is classified in three categories – Vata, Pitta and Kapha.

By consistent practice and observation of pulse reading since 1999, Dr. Tanmay Goswami can get proper judgment of imbalance of Vata, Pitta & Kapha by pulse of person. In ancient times when there were no scientific ways to diagnose diseases, pulse reading was one of the important tools of diagnosis. It is essentially diagnosing if the extent of the energy level in pulse is disturbed. The energy disturbance of Vata, Pitta and Kapha is different for different types of diseases and based on this reading of energy evaluation, the category and grade of disease is judged. After the diagnosis, the management of ill body and mind is planned.

Medical Astrology is the fusion of Ayurveda and Jyotishya, or in other words: Medical Science and Astrology. The prominent similarities in Ayurveda and Jyotishya are that both have similar basic philosophy, and both are sciences related to life.

Before diagnosing any disease, Dr. Tanmay Goswami studies the horoscope of the patient and tries to find out the genetic cause of the disease, and then treatment is planned accordingly.

Action of Past Life + Action of Present Life = Cause of Disease Ayurveda tells about a causative action of this life and Astrology talks about causative actions of the past life. Therefore, to understand and remove complete cause of disease is important to know both the causes.

Ayurvedic Medicines + Astrological Medicines = Complete Treatment According to Medical Astrology, every disease of the world is divided in two sections: Mars oriented disorders and Saturn oriented disorders. Mars oriented disorders are acute and damage the body parts very quickly.

This is because Mars sends fire dominated rays and if Mars is not healthy in the horoscope of the person, it can cause intense and acute disease and may lead to surgery and emergency treatment. Saturn, on the other hand, is slow and complicated in nature. Its rays damage the body parts slowly and hence are the cause of chronic diseases.
The most important way for a doctor to understand the problem of a person is to go through proper steps of connecting the links of events, manifesting health problems, such as style of symptoms onset, symptoms severity, tendencies, food habits, lifestyle. So proper interrogation is very important to understand the real cause and allows to solve the problem, accordingly. But unfortunately, nowadays, medical system has reduced this great art of history taking of health problem due to professionalism in medical science. A good physician always feels the patient’s problem by history taking and then only can understand what the person is going through. Dr Tanmay Goswami gives a lot of importance to a detailed history taking, so all the doctors in our team take full history before starting any diagnosis.

  • As per dosha and dhatu conditions, selection of snehapana (internal oil therapy), svedana (sudation therapy), vamana (induced vomiting), virechana (induced purgation), anuvasana basti (oil base enema therapy) and asthapana basti (herbal decoction based enema therapy) is done by expert team of ayurveda physicians.
  • Specific yoga posture are advised and taught as per diagnosis by yoga teacher and yoga instructors
  • Specific diet plan is prescribed and provided as per diagnosis by expert ayurveda dietician
  • Psychological healing is done as per mano dosha (psychological disorder ) and manovaha strotas ( channel of conciousness ) conditions by expert ayurvedic psychologists.
